Frequently Asked Questions

1. Can I use my own caterer? Yes! You may use any licensed caterer. We do ask that your caterer be in touch with Calvary Falls prior to the event to make arrangements so your special day runs smoothly! Your caterer must provide staff to coordinate serving, clearing tables and clean up of anything they bring in. Some caterers will pack up the leftovers for you to take home. In these cases we do allow for storage of the leftovers in our refrigerators until the end of your contracted day (based on package.)
2. Can we bring in our own alcohol? Our liquor license does not allow outside alcohol. No one under 21 will be allowed to consume alcohol. A security guard will be provided at an extra charge for events with 100 or more guests and alcohol is being served. There is a $500 fine assessed for any outside alcohol.
3. Can we decorate anyway we prefer? All decorations must be disclosed to Calvary Falls and approved. We do not allow nailing or attaching to walls/ceilings unless it is specifically approved but will work with you to accommodate your needs to achieve the look you want for your special day. We do not allow open flame candles. Anything you bring in must be removed by the end of your event.
4. What does the 15% service fee cover? The service fee includes, but is not limited to sales tax on alcohol and beverages, planning meetings with you, any communications with your vendors, and overall execution of your event.
5. When can I setup for my event? You will have access to the venue based on the package you select. Specifics may be discussed at the informational meetings and tours.
6. May I have a rehearsal dinner at Calvary Falls? Absolutely! If  you will be using the reception hall and kitchen areas for a rehearsal dinner an additional $500 fee will be assessed. You may arrange the food. Alcohol must be purchased from Calvary Falls. 
7. How do I arrange for scheduling of deliveries and DJ/Photographer set up? Please communicate your needs with Calvary Falls and we will make sure your day runs smoothly. You may use any DJ or Photographer of your choice.
